New Volunteer Role: Operations Assist (Midday Shift)
We’re excited to open this new volunteer opportunity starting now to both current and new volunteers! There is much to be done as we prepare for our upcoming move, and Operations Assist volunteers will play a key role in helping us get ready. This includes assisting with preparations at Redmond, helping unpack and organize at the new property, setting up systems and processes, and continuing to support operations as we settle in after the move.
Midday Shift: 11:30 AM – 2:30 PM
As we transition to our new property (13113 200th St SE, Snohomish, WA 98296), we recognize that some volunteers may not be able to arrive right at 9:00 AM or stay until 4:00 PM. To offer more flexibility, we’re introducing a new midday shift: Operations Assist (11:30 AM–2:30 PM).
Are you curious how Terry and Lily manage the many moving parts that keep SAFE running? This shift is a fun, hands-on way to help with a variety of operational needs as we work through the big move and get settled into our new space.
We’ve also heard from volunteers who would like a longer day at SAFE. If that’s you, the midday shift can be added before or after your regular chores shift to extend your time with us.
Thank you for caring so deeply about our SAFE horses and for your dedication to making this move as smooth and seamless as possible. We truly appreciate you.
