Outreach Assistant Community Outreach Assistant About The RoleThe SAFE Outreach Team plays a critical role as the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance from SAFE. This volunteer position assists the team manager with data entry, incoming outreach requests, and gathers relevant information on topics such as; written reports, emails, medical information related to the horse’s health, care, and welfare. This is a wonderful place to learn how SAFE rescues, what sets SAFE apart as a horse rescue and what is truly in alignment with SAFE’s mission, policies, and available resources. This role involves navigating sensitive situations involving horse welfare and human hardship. This role can be either 100% remote or hybrid at SAFE’s barn in Snohomish, WA and involves a weekly commitment of about 2 hours per week.
